Creek Fest Volunteer Page

Thank you all so much for helping with Creek Fest. This is our biggest ‘Reach’ event and you are a huge part of that. This is the time to be walking around making connections.

-There is an easy opener for you via raffle tickets. The raffle will be at 8:30pm and any Skillz Jam kids wearing their shirts get an extra one. Grab a handful at the Host Table and come back for more if needed.

-Don’t forget to wear your red volunteer shirt. If you didn’t help at Skillz Jam and don’t have a shirt, grab it at the Host Table before the prayer huddle.

-Speaking of prayer huddle, meet at 6:30 for a North Pointer prayer huddle before all the craziness starts.

-Below you will find the volunteer schedule for the night so you know where you’re supposed to be and who is supposed to relieve you. You will also find a quick rundown of what you will do at your position.

Parking:


Inflatables:

-There will 3 volunteers at a time for inflatables

-One person stand at the entrance to the obstacle course by the children’s checkin entrance.

-One person will be between the bounce house and the slide ‘exit’

-The last person will stand at the entrance to the slide

-Mainly make sure it doesn’t get crowded and kids are not pushing or getting too rough.

Street Welcomers:

You are the first impression people have of Creek Fest and of our church! So your job is to GET EXCITED!!! When people drive by or pull in, we want you to wave, dance, cheer, jump up and down, whatever it is you do to show your excitement, do it! We want people to feel welcome and like they’re stepping into something FUN! To make it even easier you can use the provided welcome signs!

Dunk Tank:

- There will be two volunteers at a time for the dunk tank.

- One person in the tank getting dunked and another person monitoring that people are playing fairly.

-Give a contestant three chances to hit the bulls eye from a distance that seems fair based on their age/ability.

-Do not allow people to come up and just hit the lever.


Host Table:

  1. Engage in conversation with guests that walk by.

  2. Offer them a mug. No Connect Card required to get a mug. We’re just gonna be generous! (One per family)

  3. Help restock people with raffle tickets if they need more.

  4. Be there to answer any questions people may have about the church.

  5. If you’re given the opportunity, be bold and offer to pray with someone right then and there! Imagine the impact that can have!

Cleanup:

-Folks who stay to help cleanup get a gold star in Ashlynn’s book.

-We will have people helping with different sections of cleanup so find Emily and she can direct you to which area needs help.
