Eric Harris- Senior Pastor

Eric Harris has been serving at North Pointe since March 2014. The first four years he spent as the student minister at North Pointe before accepting the call to the pastorate in December of 2018.

Eric gave his life to the Lord when he was 8 years old and was called to the ministry at the age of 13. He married his high school sweetheart on January 7, 2006. They together have a beautiful 12-year-old girl named Addy and 8-year-old girl named Hallie.

Eric graduated from Mustang High School in 2004 and then from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and his master’s from Liberty University in Interdisciplinary Studies which he completed in the Fall of 2019.

Emily Harris- Children’s Director

Emily Harris starting serving on staff in June of 2019, but has been a member of North Pointe since 2014.  She has served in youth and children’s ministries as a volunteer alongside her husband, Eric, since they were in college.  While volunteering, she coordinated many events such as VBS and youth girls ministry retreats. Emily’s heart’s passion is that her students know that they were created in God’s image, that He loves them, and that He has placed a calling on each of their lives. 

Emily is married to her high school sweetheart, Eric Harris, who happens to be our pastor.  They have two beautiful daughters, Addy (12) and Hallie (8). As a family, one of their favorite activities is to go camping!

Emily graduated high school in 2004 from Christian Heritage Academy and college from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary education.  She has taught in both public and private schools for over 8 years and also had the opportunity to run her own in-home DHS certified daycare for a few years.  

Emily feels blessed to be on staff at North Pointe.  She is looking forward to seeing what God has in store for the children’s ministry and church.

Grant Adams - Minister of Worship and Connections

Grant joined the North Pointe team in November 2021. He and his wife, Tiffany, have been married for five years and have a three year old daughter named Ellie and another on the way!

When Grant was seventeen years old he decided to follow Jesus at a student ministry event hosted by his church.  At the time, he was already involved with the music ministry at his church, but his decision solidifed his love for worship and for connecting with God and other people through song.

Soon after, he accepted an internship in the worship ministry at his church. Eventually that led to part time worship leading positions, and ten years later, led to North Pointe!

He’s a 2016 graduate of The University of Central Oklahoma’s Academy of Contemporary Music where he majored in vocal performance.

In his down time Grant enjoys cooking, going to National Parks, watching Seinfeld, and playing with Ellie.

Josiah Presley - Youth Minister

Josiah joined the North Pointe Team in October of 2022. Though an Oklahoma native, he has spent his adult life and ministry in Texas before transitioning back to Oklahoma. Josiah came to salvation the summer after his sophomore year of high school while at Falls Creek. As the Lord changed his life, He called Josiah to ministry. Josiah attended Criswell College in Dallas where he earned his bachelor's and is currently pursuing a MA in Christian Leadership from the same institution. Josiah met his wife Bethany while serving in the church and they have been married since 2019. Their first child was born in February of 2023.

 

Ashlynn Howe- Church Administrator & Financial Secretary

Ashlynn joined the North Pointe family in 2021 as the new administrator and is now the financial secretary as well. She is married to her husband, Taylor, and they have a 5 year old named Dougie and a baby girl named Dakota. She graduated in 2021 with a degree in communications. She praises God for the many blessings in her life and can’t wait to see what he has in store next!
